A: The Battle Baton is a powerful ‘Database Reporting Application' that uses core data input via a 'bulk-load' operation. Set-up is therefore simple and fast.The application uses Microsoft SQL, providing our clients with a superior service.

	Independent dual dedicated systems with no single point of failure
		Data Centre No 1 - Server 1 is hosted with the UK's No 1 Hosting Data Centre
		Data Centre No 2 - Server 2 is hosted with the USA's World's No 1 Data Centre (Covers a Black Start Option)
		Both data centres have high security levels and standards in place relative to their territory
	Dedicated Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 124 bit encrypted data transfer connection
	Custom built Dedicated Servers and Hardware Firewalls
	Server 2 is fed with real time updates being submitted at Server 1
	Server 2 monitors Server 1 every 60 seconds for automatic failover if Server 1 goes offline more than 180 seconds
	Downtime expected from complete Server 1 or Data Centre 1 loss = 180 seconds
	Maximum potential Data Loss = The amount of data that may be entered by a User before clicking "Save Changes"
	Both Data Centres use aggregated bandwidth from a number of Tier 1 suppliers which ensures there is no single point of fail.  This ensures high levels of redundancy.
	Dedicated secure encrypted SQL databases – Safe, fast and efficient
		Because of encryption and scrambled passwords, even Myriad Optima cannot access any information, except for BCP Supervisor(s) work contact information
	Dedicated Cisco Pix hardware firewalls with instant security patch updates
	Scrambled secure logins with Company ID, Username, Password and random 3 alpha character check from your defined security phrase. Myriad Optima cannot read your passwords, only re-set them to the original password per user
	Backups:-
		Real-time transfer from Server 1 to 2
		Every 6 hour full backups of each and every data base on each local server (4 per day) kept for 10 days
		Each Server backs up incrementals to tape 1 x 24hrs
	Scalable Dedicated ‘High Grade’ bandwidth with unlimited User connections
	Fully Managed System and Service monitoring 24/7 - 365

Q: What about Technical Support & Customer Services?

A: Clients have access to our UK FreePhone number and should have a response within 20 mins and by email in 4 hours during the standard operational hours of 10:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday, and within 3 working days if in writing. Myriad Optima has invoked a technical support policy that offers flexibility, redundancy and assurance to our clients. The technical support is inclusive.

Our technical support operates a ‘Single Point of Presence’ for the multi-site technical support. In simplistic terms you nominate 1 person as your technical support liaison with our help desk.

If an 'Out of hours' emergency call is required, or 0800 04 09 707 is not accessible, please call our BC Tel: 0844 56 04 707, and someone will be available to assist you.

Our technical support is covered on two levels to guarantee service and business continuity in the event of a catastrophe. Firstly, Myriad Optima have in-house technical support with an expansion programme linked to sales. In addition there is technical support overflow facility and business continuity agreement in place with our product development business partners.

Rest assured that any/all business partners of Myriad Optima are governed by our strict codes of practice and binding agreements.

Q: We already have a BCP in place, so how can the Battle Baton help us?

A: Maintaining your BCP can be very time consuming and if it not kept up to date will no longer be effective. The Battle Baton application solves this problem. It will both enhance and simplify your BCP in all stages of development, therefore saving you time, money and resources.

Plus, also included within the Battle Baton is our independent email broadcast system that enables
BC Administrators to broadcast BC messages to members by selection or en masse in seconds.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: In the unlikely event of someone wanting to discontinue the Battle Baton service, our Help line will guide you through the process.

Firstly, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you may cancel your order for any reason within seven working days following the day on which you activated the service. Secondly, it is your statutory rights, if you're not completely satisfied with your ‘Battle Baton’, we provide an additional 23 days (total 30 days) within which period you may discontinue the service whilst still being entitled to receive a complete refund.
